Poetry on Google

Wednesday, June 27, 2007
Years back, from the corridors of Stanford …
Came a search engine to find things, just using a keyword.

After hard work, two grads used their noodle…
Wrote algorithms for their engine called “Google.”

Thinning the popularity of Wandex, and others – truly a gem,
We have fallen for it time and again.

Built on just six enthralling colorful letters…
I really wonder how it works better & better!

In 2000 when many sites were dying...
Larry and Brin were still trying.

Fought against the dark cloudy recessionary sky …
Like an invisible captain, the duo never giving up try.

It’s now a verb in the Oxford, synonym with search…
Perform your query, Google is ready to quench!
